Bipod / weaver adapter plate that fits onto the frontal sling stud of a rifle.

Has a cross-bar retainer that pushes through the eyelet of the stud, secured by means of a 2mm half-threaded bolt that retains the stud to the outer / encapsulating shank that fits over the stud. The inside of this plate has a rubberized coating, to prevent the aluminium from scratching the rifle stock.

This adapter plate will allow for mounting a sling (onto the provided sling stud on top of this plate as well as a bipod on the weaver rail behind the sling stud. This is a handy / non-permanent alternative to running a weaver rail on your rifle, which by the way, can also be used for mounting an underbarrel hunting flashlight or laser aiming aperture w/out needing to permanently install a weaver railing / install a railing whose later uninstall might leave behind drilling holes or epoxy residue, etc.

This adapter plate is entirely aluminium, painted black.
